Michael is committed to faithful expositional preaching week in and week out. This means that he walks through the scriptures verse by verse, book by book, to challenge and exhort the congregation to know and obey God’s Word. Each week he seeks to relate the gospel-centered message of the scriptures and understand the authorial intent of each passage. It is a firm conviction that to know God and relate to him rightly, we must know his word accurately. The Bible is God’s inspired, inerrant, and authoritative Word and that it is both sufficient and necessary for knowing God, living in obedience to Him, and growing in Christlikeness. The preaching, teaching, and application of the Bible are paramount in Michael’s ministry.

Michael has finished his time serving at King's Cross Church.

Michael grew up in North Carolina where he was called to preach at the age of 16. He attended Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary for his Bachelor’s Degree as well as his Masters of Divinity. He and his wife have been married for 15 years and have four children together.
